About this walk
A peaceful walk along the quieter east shore of Coniston Water through ancient woodland and open farmland with constant lake views. Far less visited than the west shore, this route offers genuine solitude. The lake is associated with Donald Campbell's water speed record attempts and the views across to the Old Man of Coniston are superb.
