About this walk
Bayhurst Wood Country Park is a 65-hectare ancient woodland site managed by the London Borough of Hillingdon on the western edge of Greater London. The 3.2km Oak Trail Circular weaves between veteran oak and hornbeam pollards, crossing the seasonal stream in the valley bottom and climbing back through coppiced sweet chestnut to the open glades on the upper slopes. Dogs are welcome off lead throughout the entire park.
