About this walk
Bushy Park is the lesser-visited sibling of Richmond Park and is often quieter. This 4.8km route follows the famous Chestnut Avenue, then loops through the Woodland Garden. The Longford River provides water access for dogs throughout the route. Dogs do not need to be kept on lead in Bushy Park as a general rule, but must be kept at a safe distance from the park's red and fallow deer.
