About this walk
Blackheath is 107 hectares of open common land straddling the Lewisham and Greenwich borough boundary, and one of the few places in London where a dog can run freely in a genuinely open, unenclosed landscape. Dogs are welcome off lead across the whole of Blackheath Common. Several dog-friendly pubs and cafes in Blackheath Village are within 100 metres of the common.
