About this walk
Joyden's Wood is a 120-hectare Woodland Trust site on the south-eastern edge of Greater London. The Faesten Dic Trail covers 3.3km through dense oak, sweet chestnut and hornbeam woodland, passing along the line of Faesten Dic, a Dark Ages earthwork boundary ditch. Dogs are welcome off lead throughout. The woodland is entirely enclosed and managed by the Woodland Trust with no livestock.
