About this walk
Coldfall Wood is a 30-acre ancient semi-natural woodland in the London Borough of Haringey, one of the few remaining fragments of the ancient Forest of Middlesex. The 4.5km walk uses the woodland tracks through Coldfall Wood and connects with the open grassland of Glebelands Open Space and the Coppetts Wood corridor to the north. Dogs are off lead throughout all sections. Coldfall Wood has a characteristic ancient woodland ground flora of bluebells and wood anemones in spring, and the canopy is predominantly pedunculate oak with some hornbeam.
