About this walk
Cuddington Meadows is a 19-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Sutton, an ancient hay meadow in continuous agricultural use since at least the 16th century. The 5.5km circular links the meadows with the Hogsmill River walking route, following the river north from Cheam through the wooded valley sections and returning via the open meadow edge. The Hogsmill River is shallow and clear and dogs can wade the shallows at the ford crossing near Green Lane. Dogs must be under close control in the meadow sections during the growing season from May to July.
