About this walk
Darrick and Newstead Woods form a 120-hectare ancient woodland Local Nature Reserve on the southern edge of Orpington, managed jointly by Bromley Council and the Woodland Trust. The 4km Tugmutton Common Loop starts from the cricket pavilion on Tugmutton Common and threads through both woods. Dogs are welcome off lead throughout both woods and on the open common.
