About this walk
Greenwich Park is a Royal Park of 74 hectares on the hill above the Thames in south-east London, a World Heritage Site as part of the Maritime Greenwich complex. The 4.5km Maze Hill Circular routes around the perimeter of the park, climbs to the Wolfe statue viewpoint with its famous panorama of the Thames, Canary Wharf and the City, descends through the wilderness section on the eastern slope and returns via the formal gardens on the south lawn. Dogs must be kept on lead throughout Greenwich Park as a Royal Park rule. The Pavilion Tea House at the park's southern end is dog-friendly outside.
