About this walk
Parliament Hill is the most open and dog-friendly stretch of Hampstead Heath, a broad south-facing hilltop with commanding views across central London and 800 acres of Heath behind it to explore. This 4km circuit takes in the hill itself, a sweep down through the Vale of Health pond area and a return across the mixed woodland paths of the East Heath. Dogs are welcome off lead across most of the Heath but should be kept on lead in and around the ponds.
