Kelsey Park: Riverside and Woodland Walk, Beckenham

Kelsey Park is a 70-acre park in Beckenham, Bromley, with a series of linked lakes formed from the River Beck, woodland sections and open grassland. The 3.5km Riverside and Woodland Walk circuits the main lake, enters the woodland section on the northern boundary, follows the beck through the valley and returns via the ornamental eastern lake. The park is managed as a Local Nature Reserve and has a notable free-roaming peacock flock, which dogs must not chase. Dogs are welcome off lead in the open grassland and woodland sections but must be under close control near the peafowl. The lakeside has gentle grass banks where dogs can access the water. The park cafe near the main entrance is dog-friendly outside.
