About this walk
Lyme Farm Open Space and the Long Lane Meadows form a connected area of agricultural grassland and scrub on the western edge of Harrow, managed by Harrow Council. The 5km circular from Harrow Road links the open farmland of Lyme Farm with the hay meadow system of the Long Lane site, following the Yeading Brook tributary and returning via the open grassland of the Pinner View section. The area is genuinely agricultural in character, with working farmland visible beyond the site boundary and the hay meadows managed for wildflowers. Dogs are off lead throughout the nature reserve sections. The brook provides consistent dog access for paddling at the crossing points.
