About this walk
Mill Hill is on the northern edge of the London Borough of Barnet and has a cluster of open spaces and green corridors that collectively offer some of the most rural dog walking anywhere in the borough. The 7km circular from Totteridge and Whetstone station uses Mill Hill Open Spaces, the Totteridge Valley green belt land and the headwater sections of the River Brent above the Mill Hill reservoir. The Totteridge Valley is one of the best-preserved Green Belt valleys in the London metropolitan area and retains a genuinely agricultural character. Dogs are off lead throughout the open spaces and green belt sections. The River Brent at this headwater section is shallow and clean.
