About this walk
Morden Hall Park is a 125-acre National Trust estate in the London Borough of Merton, one of the most easily accessible National Trust properties in London, served directly by Morden Underground station. The 4.5km Wandle Trail Circular follows the River Wandle through the meadows and woodland of the estate, crosses the restored wetland sections and loops back through the formal gardens near the hall. The Wandle is a chalk stream that has recovered significantly over the past 20 years. Dogs can access the water at several points with gentle grass banks. Dogs are welcome off lead throughout the estate. The Coach House cafe is dog-friendly inside the garden courtyard.
