About this walk
Putney Heath and Putney Lower Common form a continuous 330-acre common land and woodland on the south-west edge of London. The 6km walk from the Scio Pond car park circuits the heath's open sections, descends through the mixed woodland to Putney Lower Common and the Beverley Brook riverside section, before returning via the Queen's Ride. Dogs are off lead throughout both commons. The Beverley Brook provides paddling access in the Lower Common section.
