About this walk
The River Ravensbourne flows from Keston Ponds to the Thames at Deptford. The 5.5km linear walk from Catford Bridge station follows the river north through Ladywell Fields, across the natural river section at the Ladywell Environmental Centre and into Lewisham town centre. Ladywell Fields has been the subject of a major river restoration project, returning the river to a more natural course. Dogs are off lead in Ladywell Fields and on the riverside path sections. The river has multiple bank access points. The Ladywell Tavern is dog-friendly.
