About this walk
Ruislip Lido is a 60-acre reservoir lake in Hillingdon with a sandy beach and direct access to Mad Bess Wood. The 4km circular follows the lido perimeter path north, crosses the beach area and enters the woodland section of Mad Bess Wood. The lake is a popular paddling spot and the sandy entry is gently sloping and safe for dogs. The lido cafe is dog-friendly outside.
