About this walk
Springfield Park is a 36-acre Victorian park on a hill above the River Lea in Upper Clapton, with terraced gardens dropping to the Lee Navigation towpath below. The 4.8km circular descends from the park to the towpath, follows the Lee Navigation south past the Springfield Marina to Hackney Marshes and returns via the riverside meadow path to the park's lower gate. Dogs are welcome off lead in the park and on the open Hackney Marshes section.
