About this walk
Beddington Park is a 184-acre historic parkland in the London Borough of Sutton, once the deer park of the Carew family estate, with the River Wandle flowing through its centre and one of the finest veteran oak collections in the borough. The 5km walk from the Sutton Ecology Centre links the reserve with the main parkland, following the Wandle through the park's core section. Dogs are off lead in the open parkland and meadow sections. The River Wandle is accessible throughout. The park has a cafe in the walled garden area that is dog-friendly outside.
