About this walk
Syon Park is a 200-acre historic landscape park on the Thames bank in Isleworth, the private estate of the Duke of Northumberland with a public park and garden section open year-round. The riverside walk follows the Thames bank through the park's riparian meadows, connects with the towpath at Isleworth and follows the river to Old Isleworth village and the London Apprentice pub by the ford. Dogs are welcome in the riverside section of the park and on the Thames towpath. The Thames at Isleworth has grass bank access and tidal foreshore for dogs. The London Apprentice at Old Isleworth is dog-friendly by the river.
