About this walk
Waseley Hills Country Park is a 170-acre country park in Worcestershire, a rounded hill country park between Bromsgrove and Rubery. The 5.5km Windmill Hill Circular from the visitor centre climbs to Windmill Hill at 290 metres, follows the open ridge to the north, descends through the plantation woodland and returns via the open hillside track. The hill country park has extensive cattle and sheep grazing and the grassland quality is high as a result. Dogs are welcome on the footpath network throughout the park but close control is essential near livestock. The visitor centre cafe is dog-friendly outside. Summit views extend to the Malvern Hills, the Clent Hills and the Birmingham plain.
